IDK, I'm cautiously optimistic the 650 package can race well at texas. But then again texas seems to suck no matter what package we try there

Andy, it had to be paved, regardless. Leave it like it was with a pave job and you have a 10 second lead right now

Overlooking the change in configuration, this track should have been repaved a couple of years ago. If they'd waited to see how the new car did, the asphalt would have been coming up in chunks.

Texas had decent ratings until they put the 550 package there. I expect Texas to be a lot better this year.
