Newman is who he is. It’s irritating, but that didn’t cost Matt the win. The 11 being 2 tenths faster and there being too many laps left is what did it.

He was still fighting to stay on the lead lap when Matt was catching him. Afterwards there’s not a whole lot to fight. I think Matt put Kurt down a lap and took Newman out of free pass position right afterwards.
