Hot take: the new car and huge brakes has evened the playing field on roadies. The difference between guys like Elliott and the field was that the best road racers are masters at braking. With this new car, the difference between master braking and average has become way slimmer than before. Just my observation.

I've never thought A.J. was too stable, but it's not a bad thing IMO. Hell of a driver but Chastain was not going to be denied his first win.

Ross did in fact nudge the 8 into the 16 on the final restart. I can see that Chastain felt like Allmendinger owed him one, but it’s not like AJ “started” it.

I couldn't imagine it not being back. It was one of the most exciting races they have had in a while, and it is at one of the premier facilities on their tour. I didn't even get up to get any refreshments because I didn't want to miss anything.

the only reason I posted that was because a death bedder was concerned that the race would never be back because he saw some empty seats and he went off. Didn't mean to confuse ya Charlie.

I thought it was a three year commitment from the get-go. 2023 wasn’t in doubt.

Article says it was for 2021 with an option for 2022, and have tacked on another option yet to be taken up (but expected to be) for 2023.
