Just how close Bowman and Larson were on time:
16th at DaytonaI thought the 23 was top 15 at Daytona? Apparently not...
Nope, a loose wheel killed that for them.I thought the 23 was top 15 at Daytona? Apparently not...
This race has a Larson has the best car and finishes 2nd due to a late yellow or bad pit stop kind of vibe
For anyone wondering
That started well before COVID, unfortunately.popping out for an interview on the front stretch.
Wassa Merc/RB? Googling it brings up some Mercedes campers.I’ll tell you guys this. Hendrick and Gibbs would dominate this sport like Merc/RB if we ran this low spoiler, 750 HP on a weekly basis. Fords are SLOWWW
Just how close Bowman and Larson were on time:
Dear God....If they bring those set ups back in the Playoffs, WE are screwed. Wait. Big win. Nice trophy. Really small picture.I wonder if all of the Hendrick's in unison will say now THAT was an old fashion ass whooping
Great win, but I betcha Toyota and Ford are concentrating on races that matter in the Playoffs. My two cents.I just wanted to pop in to say how impressed I am with HMS today.. this was a historic race imo and for this driver lineup to be the one to get him a 1,2,3,4.. just amazing to me
My guess is all of the manufactures and the playoff bound teams are concentrating on races that matter in the playoffs.Great win, but I betcha Toyota and Ford are concentrating on races that matter in the Playoffs. My two cents.
I think he’s right. Why would the manufacture that won the championship last season care about winning it this season? /sMy guess is all of the manufactures and the playoff bound teams are concentrating on races that matter in the playoffs.
Races and points don’t matter.
If you were a Cicada, we’d only have to put up with your droning negativity every 13 years.Welcome to tHe PlAyOfFs
We? Do you have crabs? If you were a Cicada, we’d only have to put up with your droning negativity every 13 years.
Or 17, dependent upon your brood.
Prolly a very tiny frog.No.
I have a frog in my pocket.
Alex crediting the crew.
Your manufacturer didn't win the championship. Your driver did. While deserving, he was fortunate.I think he’s right. Why would the manufacture that won the championship last season care about winning it this season? /s
Chevy is still trying to sqeeze validity out of their new car. Last year for that. Taking everything they can get their hands on.My guess is all of the manufactures and the playoff bound teams are concentrating on races that matter in the playoffs.
Alex has had the potential for multi wins in a season for a while now but his luck just hasn't been kind to him the past 2 years. But, Alex has learned from a few of his own mistakes and yesterday Greg Ives gave him a pretty good car and the fast mistake free pit stops really made this team excel in this race. If they can put together more races like that then I think they will secure a few more wins before the season is over. I just hope one of those wins will be in Phoenix.Bowman has really started to reach his full potential multi-win year, love to see it. That was the right choice for the 48 car.
Last I'd heard, there was still a manufacturers' title.Your manufacturer didn't win the championship. Your driver did. While deserving, he was fortunate.
I don’t have a manufacturer and my driver last won a championship in 2001.Your manufacturer didn't win the championship. Your driver did. While deserving, he was fortunate.
Yep, and Ford won it last year.Last I'd heard, there was still a manufacturers' title.
Not sure that I understand your question, but I'm not sure you are looking for a discussion....and I'm not sure you are interested in having one. Bottom line....I think Toyota and Ford went in a different direction with regard to how they saw the importance of this race....and their resources went with those opinions. Look where MY Toyotas have won this year. That didn't happen by accident.I don’t have a manufacturer and my driver last won a championship in 2001.
You said “I betcha Toyota and Ford are concentrating on races that matter in the playoffs”, but using your new logic the drivers are concentrating on those races not Ford or Toyota.
What do you mean?
I’m just trying to understand how you differentiate the manufacturer that the teams work with to win a championship versus the “manufacturer’s championship” itself. Not sure that I understand your question, but I'm not sure you are looking for a discussion....and I'm not sure you are interested in having one. Bottom line....I think Toyota and Ford went in a different direction with regard to how they saw the importance of this race....and their resources went with those opinions.
