Awful comparison really.

Petty, Gordon and some of Johnson’s career were more of a driver and team accomplishing everything in tandem.

Now its majority how these cars are set up and designed. Example A is MTJ’s performance once FRR nabbed Pearn, and honorable mention to JJ’s performance drop after NASCAR equalized the splitter rules in 2017.

Just like Kurt said just now, “I had to back it down and settle for what the car would give me”.

We had the most talented drivers but they only get to shine as much as the car will let them.
 
I will say I was going to give this package until the Spring Kansas Race to make a final determination if I like this deal or not...but after being pretty bored during the race I’ve determined IMO this package sucks. It’s like watching a video game with the settings on easy and the assists turned on. I want to see drivers wrangle a beastly Car with HP more than a street car and navigating through that slick corner while fighting the back end coming around. This package isn’t for me and I’ll try to keep my comments to myself about it because I don’t want to beat a dead horse but this thing sucks,it’s not the racing that made me a fan.

well to be fair this was the only race that has flat out sucked the others have been good imo so I would hang in there a bit longer and see what happens.

the EXACT same thing happened 100 laps earlier where half a tire was laying on the bottom of the track to pit road....no caution. I still don't know what happened to that tire.

true but that tire was below the line out of the racing groove.the tire Bubba had came apart all over the track they had no choice to throw one there.

Why? He won is 7th after Kyle's first.

He was only in cup 3 years prior to Kyle. If by "time" they mean 2017-2019, when the other good drivers retired, sure.

Kyle's great, but head to head, in equal cars, prime Stewart and prime JJ take him 7/10 times
