The driver won today. It wasn’t about car.
This is refreshing.
Necessary shifting on a 1.5 is shameful in terms of <lack of> horsepower.

This round went exactly like the entire season has gone for him. The entire chase really. 4th to 8th place cars. The only difference these last two weeks is that he finished where he ran, and didnt win

I’ve also said that both are incredible talents and that Larson wouldn’t make as many dumb mistakes if he focused more on Cup. There are some broken barrels in Miami that help prove my point.

Larson is a cup series champion, which is more than most of us thought he would be, even with the HMS move.

So even if he underachieves the rest of his career, there will be that to fall back on. 30+ wins and a championship is still a Matt Kenseth/Brad K like career.

Absolutely, Larson has a lot to be proud of. Dude is a generational talent…

which is also why he frustrates me. I can count on one hand the number of drivers in the history of stock car racing with more natural talent than Kyle Larson. He would have a hand full of rings if he were more laser focused. He pisses away races on a regular basis.

I think it was more being super aggressive getting to pit road because he has nothing to lose, and the guy in front of him being conservative because he has everything to lose. Have to be aware of your surroundings.

You and the other Larson fanboys don’t argue in good faith. Everything Larson does is great, everyone wants to sponsor him, we should all envy him. What a magnificently perfect driver.

If I ever become a fanboy over a driver, I want someone to slap the **** out of me. I like Ross but I can critique him when he ***** up, like when he let the Felon get in his head.
