Because its a hot track and there isnt a wall between pit road and the track.

Yeah that is clear race manipulation by race control. If you’re gonna throw the yellow, do it as soon as the tire is deemed a threat. Not whenever you feel like it. The #17 and #47 teams oughta be livid.

If NASCAR can run 20 laps without throwing a caution, they can go the rest of the way without throwing a caution.

The #11 team only had 3 lugs on the last run. That compromises the safety of the driver of the 11. Why wait until the wheel snaps off at 175 mph? The tire could come off and get punted into pit road or the stands.

It’s inconsistent and stupid.
