Cup RACE thread --- Las Vegas

“wHo KnOws WHat wiLL haPPeN toDAy”

Looks like the same thing to me. The 4 driving away from the field. Everybody running single file. We’re just doing it 20 mph slower holding it to the mat.

This package ain’t it chief.

Position 2-7 are all very close to each other...position 1 is just blowing everyone else away.

Me enjoying the race listening to all this negatively

I believe most of what I am told by the broadcasters, so I am confused as to where this pack racing us. Not that I was excited for it, but it was all I heard leading up to this race.

So Dillon drops from 2nd to 6th and we see one of those passes. Smdh. TV is a bigger detriment to this series than anything else, because FOX and NBC’s headasses overpaid for rights ESPN and TNT clearly didn’t want anymore.

Harvick has run away, but lets see if anyone can run him down.

now the R-F experts that were so positive there would be pack racing and were hating on it, are now wondering where it is. Crow feathers.

Solid racing honestly.

Truex can't get the handling down... Lets see if he actually attempts to move around.

The announcers are backpeddling faster than what these cars are going.

Sounds like the weather has thrown the teams for a curve as to why the racing is what it is. Sounds like once they do pit stops, that'll change.

Things Mike Joy, Jaws and Jeff Gordon said in pre-race: Harvick won't dominate today, nobody will pull away from the field, it'll be different than any 1.5-mile race you've ever seen, we won't see a handful of teams dominate and win.
35 laps on a package they have never run and you are throwing shade? Again, do you really follow this sport and provide this type of analysis? good lord

Pack racing or not, slowing the cars down to where they have to flat foot it around the track, that's for Bandoleros and Mini Cups, not for the premier stock car racing series in the world.

Let's see if Joey yells, "AssH87#" at Stenhouse when he passes him.

Hopefully this lousy show convinces NASCAR to **FINALLY** go with the obvious solution to the problem of poor racing, one that has been smacking them in the face for years, yet NASCAR continues to ignore. **REDUCING THE SIDEFORCE AND GROUND EFFECT ON THE CARS**

Me also. I’ll take this over what NASCAR intended any day. Compared to what the test in late January here showed, I imagine the track conditions are playing a major factor.

Hotter today and the sun is beaming today unlike the cloudy conditions earlier in the week.
