We will see. But aside from Truex, those Toders did not look strong.Eh, after 5 or so of these mile and a halfs we’ll see which teams have speed all season.
For Custer to finish top 20 after a horrible day is a good recovery for him.
Yes to both.Penske is doing fine -- Mike Joy with best seat in the house is losing track of time and space
Kyle Busch didn't have a top 10 car today.
Toyota's may lag all year tbh. Could be Chase's year. He's gonna win 5-6 races. Jimmie is gonna win some. Expect atleast one HMS car in the final four.

Yes to both.
I was ruminating about the personnel changes with 10 to go. Roger had both cars battling for the lead and the other one was 3 spots back.
Matt Di Benedetto finishing second is good. Somewhere , maybe Paul Menard is smiling.
Perfect!
Yes really . Had a good car all day with only 3 laps to go.......smh
He didn't. The incident with JJ was because Stenhouse was leading during pit cycles. He then only got track position due to the timing of the Elliot spin. Was still a step below the HMS Chevy's.Spinhouse ran really well today.
I thought it was lameLets be honest, there really was no reason for throwing the yellow for Chastain spinning.
9 was better. Daytona was a crap shoot. None of the other Toyota's ran top 10 today. We haven't seen that in years. It's early in the season but Toyota and JGR has NOT been THAT far off at a mile and a halfer in yearsWhat? Toyota literally won the Daytona 500 6 days ago and Truex had one of if not the fastest car today before his pit road problems

True. But those were relatively short runs, weren't they? They must have worked on it in clean air, because he was dropping on those long 80 lap runsHe did.
Once he got track position he was able to keep it. And finish ... 3rd.
Yep. I’m biased and admit as such, but random circumstances determined today’s outcome. The HMS teams, especially the 9, raised my eyebrow today. Very disappointed, but very, very pleasantly surprised at their performance.9 was better. Daytona was a crap shoot. None of the other Toyota's ran top 10 today. We haven't seen that in years. Looked like the old HMS. Overall the 9, 48, 12, 19 and 22 were the 5 best cars today. 88 was about an 8th place most the day. But they found something there at the end. Absolute rocket.Yep. Loses 500 by a inch and caution comes out with to 5 to go in a race he is leading:

I don't think they are done. But I think they are going to be playing catch up all year. How many times have we seen them start in the back and slice through the field. It’s still the sports biggest race lol. So Truex had the 2nd best car today and Toyota is done? I see what you’re saying but that’s way overstating it. Remember most of the Toyota’s started at the back of the pack
Yes, they were. Rather like some previous sets of similar circumstances that resulted in driver errors and crash damage to his and other cars.True. But those were relatively short runs, weren't they? They must have worked on it in clean air, because he was dropping on those long 80 lap runs

Wait, do you think it was Blaney who made the call to pit?You can thank buck tooth Ross for his usual overagressive driving and crash. Literally every single time a different driver is about to win there is a late yellow that ensures one of the usual suspects ends up winning. I feel sorry for people that don’t like Toyota, Logano, Brad, or Harvick.
I don’t feel sorry for Blaney or Bowman though anyone with a brainstem stays out with 2 to go. This is why the same guys always win
