He was catching him before lap traffic. But Hamlin slowed his pace up.

IIRC, I actually don't think it does. I think it includes as they run without the ending stage points.

I may be totally wrong here too though, maybe someone can clear that up.

5 car is just as good as the 9, honestly, if not a bit better in terms of pace.

Larson just can't get into a consistent rhythm, and figure out how to execute passes, and will make a mistake every 20 or so laps which has lead to a 2 second gap.

Reminds me a lot of Carl Edwards, who needed an absolute friggin missle just to finish top 5
