Do the 9 and 5 have fresher tires than the top 10? Did I miss something or are they just fast?

They do have fresher tires but by now they would have evened out.
 
19 and 9 and 5 were the 3 best long run cars.

I think this yellow helps the 18.

Larson really got screwed with this strategy.

Same track position, worse tires.

Terrible decision making from them this year.

I would agree to an extent. Brad has had some bad luck a couple weeks; Sonoma for example he had a top 5 car. Brad’s qualifying has been dreadful this year compared to Buescher on the other hand
 
Man Larson should be in the mix if not for that wiffed pit strategy. Was faster than the 9 on the long run that run through the field before the yellow. And now w slow stop.
