I need to think of something new for here
AgreedI dislike it less than the N'wide Jr. report. The C1 camera faces forward instead of just inside at the driver.

Think Chase's car is that good. Larson was only behind Logano like a second the whole 1st segmentIf stage racing caused the great finish in segment 1, what role did it play in this blowout? Could it be the stages sometimes coincide with good battles and sometimes don't?!
In b4 "back in dale's day they didnt have ice"
Aaaaaand there it isThat was some pretty detailed cooling info on Junior and the other drivers. Sr. would have said - "stick and ice cube up yer ___ and let's go racing"

Can't quite go "fantastic", but will go "very interesting". The strategy for this last segment could be fun.Fantastic race so far

If they want to sell these guys as athletes (which they do) they really should limit the driver blowers. You don't see football players with air conditioning in their helmets. I understand the the Carbon Monoxide concerns, but these go beyond that.
How about no. Thats beyond stupid. If they want to sell these guys as athletes (which they do) they really should limit the driver blowers. You don't see football players with air conditioning in their helmets. I understand the the Carbon Monoxide concerns, but these go beyond that.

Back in dales day they didnt have consciousness to lose! You don't like seeing racecar drivers lose consciousness?

Football players have giant fans blowing water and oxygen tanks on The sidelines. It's also never 140* F on a football field
athletes .... football players.
How about no. Thats beyond stupid.

Thanks for the Big Laugh of The Day.Back in dales day they didnt have consciousness to lose!
You may have a point, but you lost all credibility when you made the football comparison.Driver survived for the first fifty years of this sport without massive blowers. The ostensibly better conditioning of the drivers today should help them overcome the heat. I like things that make the driver play a bigger role. Again, do what is needed for carbon monoxide. Everything is else is just about comfort.
For 50 years drivers didnt have the safety they have today, which causes much of the increased heat in the cars. Read a book.Driver survived for the first fifty years of this sport without massive blowers. The ostensibly better conditioning of the drivers today should help them overcome the heat. I've never heard of anyone smashing out the windows of a football stadium because someone locked a football player inside ....OK, let's not continue the eternal struggle between "stick/ball" and "racing". Please.
All I know, the inside of those cars are HOT. As a driver, I'd want all the stuff available to keep me reasonably cool.
So I guess we oughta just chuck the whole thing and go back to this.Driver survived for the first fifty years of this sport without massive blowers. The ostensibly better conditioning of the drivers today should help them overcome the heat. I like things that make the driver play a bigger role. Again, do what is needed for carbon monoxide. When I played high school ball on hot days when we would get to the sidelines and the trainers would be handing out rags soaked in ice water.g Tapatalk
