IMSA doesnt run ovals at 180 mphIMSA doesnt seem to have any issues.
Raining at your house?Geesh, if they just built the tracks underground then weather wouldnt be a problem
You got some money?
So if they did light it and it rained for the next 8 hours, whats your complaint then?No but NASCAR does.

I was just thinking that too Bobby , maybe they should race here next week, we got some wild fires here, we could use some rain.Maybe NASCAR should come out West.
how about over 200 mph on the Mulsanne straight.!?IMSA doesnt run ovals at 180 mph
Obviously the complaint would be that its rainingexplain
The tracks surely do.
If you want a Cup date, put lights in. This isn't the little leagues.
On slicks? How about weight of the car and downforce percentages? Ride heights?how about over 200 mph on the Mulsanne straight.!?

Not that I support the idea that all tracks should have lights but many of those that do use temporary rental lights in the lots. Not that easy. I'm pretty sure local ordinances at Indy and Dover make it virtually impossible. At a track like Pocono that's in the middle of nowhere safety is an issue. The entire facility must be lit, not just the track. The thought of fans leaving Pocono at night seems really skectchy....
Do they corner at 200?On slicks? How about weight of the car and downforce percentages? Ride heights?
Yes on slicks, couple thousand pounds of dowmforce. On slicks? How about weight of the car and downforce percentages? Ride heights?
Oh it does, it was painful, and we might have more of that with the new school yearSuper cute kids. Home schooling must have its own challenges.
Halfway I bet will be the distance since what makes races official. For reference the ARCA race on Friday was 80 laps and they started around 610. Be interested to see if they set the distance or see how things go. 100 laps seems safe anything else could be pushing it...

Lights work, corner speeds at 200, 180, 170 dont.Yes on slicks, couple thousand pounds of dowmforce.
1 inch or less of height.
the lights still work, rain or shine.
There are some really fast turns in Le Mans.Lights work, corner speeds at 200, 180, 170 dont.
