I mean in the grand scheme of the season, it is what it is.Thanks man. I have been with MY Toyotas through thick and thin.....just another test.
What happens if they win the appeal? ... I assume someone should get fired.I mean in the grand scheme of the season, it is what it is.
I actually feel a bit bad for Denny. Set a record, shared it with his daughter, and now it was taken away and the internet laughs.

Gloating isn't the worst in people.....It's part of the fun. Irritating sometimes, but part of the fun for some. Bigotry, hatred, discrimination......which have all been part of this sport unfortunately are the worst qualities of fans.....gaining on that I think.
eh B.S. this was intentional cheating. Kez got docked like 50 points and I believe fined also and he didn't win a race
Holy $hit.
Ehh, I maybe feel slightly bad for him, too, but he's obviously a big boy who has plenty of wins already and most likely isn't done winning. To his credit, he seems to be taking it all in stride. As I said yesterday, I truly feel bad for his poor daughter Taylor. That little girl got robbed, and that's not funny to me at all.I mean in the grand scheme of the season, it is what it is.

That's definitely one way to put it...Thanks man. I have been with MY Toyotas through thick and thin.....just another test.
Yeah. If they really looked over the 9 with a fine toothed comb, I'm sure they'd find something.Well, I was always taught to win with class and lose with dignity when I was participating in sports, so I try to keep the same attitude as a fan. I could make fun of JGR and Toyota all I want and maybe enjoy it, but it's not like HMS are a bunch of virgins in this regard. I'd prefer to not be a hypocrite about it.
Thank God for post-race inspection. It's unfortunate for KB #18 though, this was the Mars company's final "home" race...half of Pocono was decorated in M&M's logos yesterday including the fans.Maybe The Coach should wait until after post-race inspection before thanking God.
How utterly humiliating.
It’s still amusing seeing these guys on the same side of things:
NASCAR doesn't remove wrap in pre-race inspection. AFTER the race, certain sections of wrap are removed.
Since the material was found UNDER the wrap, says to me that there was serious intent to hide it.
I hear you, but I see it differently. Sport is a place to let it hang out if you so should choose IMO. Whatever that looks like. I like end zone dances....trash talking on the court, and changing the mound. HOWEVER, in the arena of real life.....DO NOT EVER rip into a waiter or waitress in my presence......DO NOT EVER call someone a name. DO NOT EVER lay your hands on somebody unless it is self-defense. DO NOT EVER think you are better than anybody else. My two cents.Well, I was always taught to win with class and lose with dignity when I was participating in sports, so I try to keep the same attitude as a fan. I agree. All day long, drivers got too high exiting turn 1, either on their own or pushed up there by traffic. They had to lift to stay off the wall, and they'd lose four or five places before regaining momentum. Hamlin gave Ross a little help getting up there too high, but Ross made the choice not to lift. Wrong choice. I thought it was an elegant, deftly executed example of payback. And I say that as a Chastain partisan.I'm a Ross partisan, and I think he had plenty of room to recover from that nudge.
Well, I see it that way. Toyota is MY team. Whatever they do, they remain MY team. This tests that, of course....but I don't waver. Not even a bit. Some babblers question my loyalty. This is what a fan is...thick and thin.....and this is very, very thin in my world. I am pissed and disappointed. That's definitely one way to put it...
Elliott fans should be doing flip flops. Maybe the gerbils might mention it
Do not misquote me damn it. I said NOTHING about cheating smarter next week. NOTHING. Don't make **** up to support your narrative. I am pissed and deeply disappointed in what has happened here. A team that represents my manufacturer has let me down. If this is as it appears, I would expect and appreciate a conversation with JGR that sounds a lot like the conversation Lee White had with Mikey over rocket fuel....You pull this again, and we are done. I'd rather run last than deal with this ****.If the prevailing attitude is as @Revman says it is ("We cheated, we got caught, we'll take our medicine and cheat smarter next week"), then this spec-based business model will fail.
Probably chaps the 4 team’s ass even more knowing that two of the cars ahead of them at the time were illegal.Hamlins move did not help happy harv
Lesson learned: put the Bondo on the wrap.
