Cup RACE thread --- Richmond

If Kyle would have said it, I would have agreed with him too, because it gets REAL OLD watching these backmarker guys blow tires or spin out every damn time the race ends on a long green flag run. I don't know how Cope was even going fast enough to melt a bead or whatever happened to him. It has helped my drivers as much or more than it has hurt them, and I STILL get pissed off about it.
 
Truex should of won that one ! Damn Nascar throwin that caution.....not right!

Yeah the jobbers/backmarkers affect the end of races way too often. Wish there was a way to get them off the track with about 20 to go
 
I still have a **** eating grin after that final restart. I still feel super dirty about enjoying that win after all the bull**** NASCAR pulled.


I hope to god Homestead doesn't have a **** show regarding late race cautions like they did last year or last night.


I'm gonna take that W though.
 
After all is said and done, the ambulance was pretty interesting. Not quite up there with JPM when he blew up the jet dryer, but high on the can you believe it scale. It didn't look like the preacher bought Hamlin's lame ass excuse for wadding two of his cars up. "The splitter made me do it. Hambone reverting to the playing dumb kid mode nah, I don't think the preacher bought it. Like Hambone didn't know where the racing groove was and what Truex was going to do? He was on full bulldozer mode. He nailed the 22 in the first corner on the last restart and moved him up. All Hamlin figured was that he was going to get another spot out of the deal. :D

way I figure it, Nascar is going to even it up a bit one way or another. they are the cheaters cheater, they have the biggest stick.

Yea I'd be afraid kind of that NASCAR evening up is lurking especially at Homestead. It's really sad that we are even debating this, just embrace what you are, hire Vince McMahon to run this sh!t show and say you are "sports entertainment racing"
 
If I look around at other sports, it's not hard at all to come to the same conclusion about them.
 
Next week there will be cars sideways and on fire and Nascar will give the field the mover over flag.

I am really proud of how he took over the ride from Kurt and has taken it to a new level.... I always liked Martin..... he got a screw job at MWR...... I was so surprised and impressed what Kurt done in that car...... I was afraid that Martin would not be able to improve on on that and he would be labeled an also ran.... he sure as hell didn't dissapoint........

Apparently it PO'd Carl so much he said screw it im done. Can't believe it angered him so much it drove him to walk away
