I've always preferred Sonoma but WGI is nice too. I'm not sure if road courses would lose their charm/novelty if they took up more dates but I doubt it.

I'll be there in 3 weeks. This will be my 3rd year attending the Kentucky race. It's in the middle of the summer which makes for a great little 3-4 day weekend gettaway for myself. Plus it's a night race which gives it a little bit of uniqueness. It's a nice track with reasonable ticket prices. Plus, traffic is never and issue! I combine the trip with 2-3 rounds of golf. With that said, if Kentucky didn't have a race I'd just travel somewhere elsel. I'll be at Pocono 2 weeks later.
