Did Larson hit the tires again?
Toyotas are going to drive away from them no matter when they pit.Larson told to watch Elliott and pit when he does. Better be soon or Larson won't be able to see him.
Z SmithWhose tire was trying to escape?
RW(sb)R caution!
It wasn't RWR so I deleted it. I agree about the tire probably making it across. I couldn't tell if anyone was coming down pit road.NASCAR bull**** caution more like it.
Replay cut out before the tire looked like it was going to make it back to the pit stall
Did you see the cars that were entering pit road?NASCAR bull**** caution more like it.

The guy with 3 wins gets some stage points. Woohoo
Whatever happened to quickie yellows? That would've been an ideal solution here.
Given how long the road courses are, it should be the norm at all of them.
No.NASCAR really needs to shorten these road course races. 110 laps is just wild
If I remember correctly, the early races were 90 laps --- but the track was longer. They shortened the track, so made the race longer.NASCAR really needs to shorten these road course races. 110 laps is just wild
You are correct.I could be wrong (most likely am) but I think on some road course series, they have localized yellow on the course and only save the full course caution for when on-track safety is a concern
Yea, I think 110 laps around Sonoma is the right length.
fer sure. 10 regular stage points + 1 playoff point is nothing to sneeze atGuys have failed to advance from round to round by a single point. That playoff point may come in handy during the playoffs.
I can guarantee the 8 team isn't taking it for granted.
Replace the tires with some Jersey barriers.
'Gilligan's Island' was there years ago. It had barriers protecting the pits.NASCAR could just get rid of any barrier there and penalize guys who cut the turn. I don't remember the barriers being there years ago.

Remember when Junior's crew wore the same hat that Gilligan wore because they pitted there? That white bucket hat.'Gilligan's Island' was there years ago. It had barriers protecting the pits.
How about mounted on a pole with bearings wheel of fortune style and it has ," gain 2 spots, lose a lap, free wreck someone pass, pit next time by"?They should solid-mount those tire pod barriers so that hitting them doesn’t move them.
