Cup RACE thread --- Sonoma

Fans: “we want short tracks and road courses!”
Nascar: “ok, we’ll do that. But you have to accept a car that’s abysmal at both.”
Honestly how much is the car and how much is the tires? To me it’s tires that are the equivalent of Hard tires in F1 as the standard. Look how well Chase and Ryan are hanging in with old tires, that used to never happen

Isn't that affecting the outcome of the race by trying not to affect the outcome of the race lol

I'm just enjoying seeing racing. It may not be the "old school" or what I started watching "back in the day", but it's a race.
And I'm enjoying it.

Honestly this is closer to "old school" than NASCAR has been for awhile. The only race this year that's also been "old school" was the All-Star race at North Wilkesboro.

Needs lots of wheel-hopping in turn 11 to improve the show.

Huh, surprised NASCAR didn't throw a late race "debris" caution.
