At least Newman got a top 10. Everyone always waits too late to make a move on plate tracks, you need more than two laps to get to the front.

They have been as of the past several plate races. They are too afraid to wreck that they wait until half a lap left which isn't enough time.

Absolutely!! I love to see the drivers use good judgement!! I have no problem with drivers being aggressive but at 'Dega and Daytona common sense has to prevail.

One of the few good things about plate races. Drivers you don't see getting a good finish normally can grab one.

No question. The 22 deserved to win, but the field did him a favor by waiting till the white flag to start racing. Yet again. So stupid. These guys have all had their balls yanked off on these plate tracks.

Half the issue with the racing now isnt just the car, its the drivers not taking risks to make for an entertaining race and finish. Buncha Greg Biffles out here.
