Open at the green!
After yesterday --- this could be very interesting.
And here we go
We're green at the Roval!!
might need to run multiple screens for this race
Truex stalled?????? Oh wait.. nevermind
88 blows back chicane 78 blows front
Truex shouldnt have to stop for that IMO.
Well, that didn't take long.
88 hit with the curse of the Silver-Spork
Byron's looking good so far. Let's hope he can keep it up.
Awful written rule. Jfc.
That chicane miss rule is kinda questionable IMHO,
If you go through the chicane to avoid a wreck you shouldn't get a penalty. Bad call by NASCAR.
IMHO, if a driver misses the chicane to avoid a crash, at most they should only get a time penalty
MTJs gonna fire his team for that
The Roval is not cutting Truex any slack today.
I'm not a fan of time penalties. If they miss the chicane and gain positions, they should have to give the positions back.
If someone misses the chicane without gaining an advantage, there shouldn't be any penalty, IMO.
Byron is as dominant as he was during stage 1 in the Sonoma race. I hope they have a better strategy today.
That didn’t merit a yellow.
Why was that a caution?
Caution for Preece spinning in the backstretch chicane.
Since Preece's car was neither stalled nor in the way, this shouldn't have been a caution
They gain time and save tire wear. They’re not driving the same course. They should be penalized.
I knew that would happen
Well that escalated quickly
The hell was that?!
It looked like Menard started that all by getting into the back of Kurt
88 48 and 11 went for the same center hole.
This is getting silly
These guys could do themselves a lot of favors if they didn't drive into 1 so hard. The risk just isn't worth it.
So they never threw the yellow for Bowmans wreck but they threw it for Preece?
I expect one more lemming moment like last year though
"We love the Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval and its 17 twists and turns. However, in re-watching last year’s race, we realized the only corner name people could remember was the TUMS Heartburn Turn — you know, the one where Brad Keselowski led half the field straight into the wall on a late-race restart."
I take that back, that was Kurts fault
1 lap shootouts are stupid. Just have the stage under caution and go to stage 2.
Network designed commercial breaks.
And That Jones Boys heads to the garage.
Erik Jones has a punctured radiator due to that incident. He's going to the garage. This will eliminate him from the playoffs.
Jones going to the garage. He won't advance to the round of 12.
I have no idea what’s going on
NBC cuts to a commercial every chance they get
He wasn’t going anyway; this just makes it official.
Cloud cover for most of the stage. Air temp down 10 degrees.
1 down, 3 to go
Pit crew man outside the box!
Separate names with a comma.
