What will be more telling is the next run. Is that pace sustainable? I didn't realize it was of the race, thought it was that lap.

But still, most the leaders had traffic on the most fresh tires of the day, with the exception of Truex, who doesn't seem nearly as fast as the 9, 5, and 22 on the short run.

Definitely winning speed, but I think that 0.5 on the field is deceiving. Can't be certain without clean air..he may have it here though if they're staying out?

Doesn’t matter. With track position they’re screwed. There’s no way. Going to come down to the 19, 20, 5. It is what it is.

If they stay out here when everyone pits, then pit again when the leaders make their final stop, could be in contention.

Chase asked if gas only would help, they said no it wouldn’t. Take track position.
 
I don’t understand why they’re telling him to save. Go like hell and you have one more pit stop either way. Go!!! Don’t save! Ugh…
 
Ok, they just told him to go yet save tires. Basically haul ass when in clean air. Really missing Alan today

Bell suckered Truex there! Impressive of Truex to hold him off
 
Get a caution in next 20-25 laps and 9 is back in it. I was wrong. He’s flying
 
If Bell was as aggressive with his front bumper as he is with his rear, he would have been around the 19 five laps ago.
 
Heck, at 2-5 tenths a lap better the 9 will catch them on pace!
