I can't believe Jeff Burton called this the best round in the playoffs.
You have a total crapshoot at Atlanta, a complete tire fuel strategy race of a road course where tire wear did nothing until the tail end of the run... Then FINALLY an ordinary race.
If you're going to have an elimination style playoff you got to find a way to do a way with the total gambling races. If Blaney ended up wrecking at Atlanta, he'd be entirely out of it after his wreck today

Spire has been on such a climb lately that even their weak link has snuck into uncharted territory.
But Lajoie sucks. Imagine where they'd be with a better driver. He ended Kyle's day today on lap one, hard to overlook that.

One of the many reasons I don't like the playoffs. It keeps guys from making late season runs to improve their positions. 17th is as high as the non playoff drivers can go. Buescher was in 12th place when he was knocked out of the running.
