The Dale Jr one was phenomenal. Dale genuinely opened up about some wounds due to his “relationship” growing up with Sr. If you haven’t heard it, check out Jr on The Joe Rogan Experience as well. It’s a solid interview and this is why I like Bensinger. You get the see and hear sides from athletes that other journalists fail to bring to light. His interview with Dale Jr. was just as fun.
Especially with the pressure of her father. Going to school to become a clinician, I have mild experience with disorders/diagnosing and can recognize features/traits of some. She is absolutely narcissistic, the inflated reaction formed self worth shows that..but the shifting relationships, always shifting blame, the mood swings etc , she honestly seems a bit like a high functioning, very high functioning borderline personality. Probably not diagnosable, but she definitely has the features. She's a bit muchNarcissism. I like the part where she said Aaron called to tell her "good race." I guess he doesn't understand racing.
Thank you to everyone that watched this and posted about it. You saved me the pain of watching it.
I used to like her in Indy Car, I thought she had some talent. I rooted for her to win that Indy 500 she almost won but each time she spoke she became a bit More unlikable each time. Someone said the same interview with Dale Jr was phenomenal and it was we learned a lot about his relationship with his dad and what made Jr himself tick. Every time I take the time to listen to a Danica interview, her failures are someone else’s fault and she always deflects blame. The part where she blames SHR for jettisoning her for a paid driver.... paid or not that moved proved to be the right one look at what Aric did this year compared to what she did her time in the car.

You guys are harsh. Look I think the hauler driver could have done better in the race car but I thought the interview was cool.
Were being harsh now because she's just being outrageous and the blame game at this point is pointless. Nothing wrong with being honest, but everyone that has had Danica has tried to help her in every facet possible. She just couldn't execute.

So where are these women? Danica set that movement back rather than helping it, maybe at the local level there a few who rock, but at the national level I don't think any Cup team will take that chance again and get burned. Money and sponsors are a precious commodity now, to take a chance on a female would be a risk that a Cup team isn't willing to take.I think the lesson learned out of the Danica phenomena is that the public longs for females in the sport. Danica was able to get a whole bunch of Go Daddy money behind her and get on the fast track to a cup ride. She had a huge bunch of fans, but top level Cup will show the talent skill level really quick. She made a huge chunk of change racing in cup. I don't like the blame game she is using. It isn't the truth. But I never took her seriously in the first place so it is no surprise. Lesson learned? I think the next female that tries to break into the cup level will have to be a really good race car driver and not just a pretty girl in a racing suit.
I have never appreciated Danica's presence in this sport. I don't like the driver-centric nature of NASCAR promotion, and I don't like "storylines" when the racing is the only storyline you need. All Danica was was a driver and a storyline. Enough said....and BTW.... relationship advice from her? That's funny.
Nascar ratings and attendance have plummeted since DP was shunned but I will leave it to others to determine potential linkage.
As long as pay to play is in force the potential for more DP’s is alive and well. Fortunately most ride buyers are rolling chicanes and essentially field filler.
yep Danica is responsible. Broke Eastman kodak last time I heard.
Where were all the women before she came in to the picture? I don't think she set the movement back at all. What chances was the team taking on her? She was the one bringing the money allowing them to run that car...just like Almirola is now. I don't ever remember seeing that car sponsored by Haas or Stewart while looking for a sponsorship deal like they did with Kurt Busch. When the sponsors were gone then she was gone.So where are these women? yep. I believe Guthrie was the last one that raced in cup 70's 80's? She was pretty good, but again lost sponsorship. I believe young Deegan if she doesn't get derailed is somebody to watch.Where were all the women before she came in to the picture? I don't think she set the movement back at all. What did she do for that 10 team, other than run mid pack? Almirola showed what a real driver can do.Where were all the women before she came in to the picture? Never make it to Cup, in fact I'll go out on a limb here and say in the next 10 years you won't see another woman in Cup, if it even lasts that long.yep. She didn't have enough talent...period.Where were all the women before she came in to the picture? I don't think she set the movement back at all. What chances was the team taking on her? Not trolling here, but you follow a driver that has created more driver-centric events than any driver in recent history and that is a fact. I happen to think that part is good for the sport. Logano seems to be doing his fair share recently judging by the boos he gets. Parallels D.W. Earnhardt, and Wallace to a certain extent. Big difference between all them and Danica, her's were mostly when she ran into somebody, or wrecked herself.

Almirola drove like a driver who knew how to drive a Cup car.The car made Almirola.....and that fancy spoiler.

The post you made and the post I made had nothing to do with talent or who was the best driver, it doesn't take a calculator to figure out that Almirola is a better Cup driver then Danica. I already said this in the previous post but I will say it again just to answer your question...she brought the money which allowed them to have a team. What did she do for that 10 team, other than run mid pack? Almirola showed what a real driver can do.
eh 5th right behind your darling boy spoiler really helpedHe drove like a driver who had a car NASCAR/OSS handed to him, and then added a trick spoiler for good luck. Mid pack. That's it.
