Besides the dreaded pop up showers that seen to haunt Nascar races, it look clear to the south.

If I'm reading Matt Weaver's feed correctly, they started drying the track around 5:10. Sorry, I'm not Twitter literate enough to post it.

Hopefully get a green flag by 7pm if NASCAR can get their heads out of their asses when it comes to pre-race festivities.

Might get ~2 hours of racing in with the current radar forecast.

They are taking wayyyyy too long to get this thing going. Seems to always be the case when they are trying to fit a race into a tight window between storms. No sense of urgency
