Daytona Firecracker Cup Series Night Pre-Race thread

If Brad really felt bad for the #24 guys, he wouldnt of wrecked Bryon, but I get it, he wanted to send a message, Saturday night is gonna interesting.

I hope Brad knows that he has said its ok for drivers to do it to him as well, and i bet we are going to see that happen.

Works both ways on blocking. You think anybody is going to lift for HIM now?

Honestly, they probably will lift for him out of fear of wrecking themselves and the field. Brad has 3 wins and is locked in, he doesn't give a f***. He's too dangerous to mess with for most.

It was a dumb move and it could have taken out innocent people trying to make a point. Brad is not innocent when it comes to boneheaded moves.
could a, would a, should a and what really happened, minor damage to the 24. Personally I think it will help Byron. He's in the big boy league. Paybacks could have been a lot worse.

Keep in mind, Brad lifted for Byron last year in this race and ended up on the hook. I’m sure that was on his mind today.

This just made Saturday all the more interesting.

The Gerbils will be gerbiling fer sure. The cars look pretty stable so I would guess there will be carnage. Not much of a guess though. I'm looking forward to a good super speedway race or two.

When the TV and attendance tank and Daytona becomes an absolute shambles next year

Lol Brad and Logano block worse than anyone on the plate tracks. This is akin to Tony Stewart complaining about Brian Vickers blocking at Sonoma and then literally wrecking 38 cars blocking Michael waltrip at Talladega chase race 2012

Literally what I was thinking lol.

BK is clearing a path, y'all standing on the tracks while the train is coming through.

He said he was tired of getting wrecked because of bad blocks last year. Byron’s block today I wouldn’t exactly call bad as Brad didn’t have to get hard on the binders BUT I think it was exactly what he wanted to do and who he wanted to do it to. He had a winning car at Daytona last year and there was an element of payback for sure. Message sent. And yeah, he better not throw any bad blocks Sat......
