Daytona RACE thread --- Duel 1 & 2

Wait, how does Cindric make it in but Ty Dillon is out? Cindric was multiple laps down.
 
Ty Dillon ran a great race. Finished 6th. Yet won’t make the 500 because hacks like Ware and Bilicki who finished 5 laps down have a charter.

Something not right about that..
 
That **** needs to be fixed. If they are already in on quals speed, they they shouldnt be a factor in racing to qualify in the duel races.

Exactly. So basically Preece is doubly “locked in”.

Makes no sense to have two cars lock in on qualifying speed. Force the rest to race in during the Duels. Then go back to qualifying speed to decide who makes the show because the highest finishing “open” car was the guy who locked in in qualifying.

Ty Dillon finished well ahead of Austin Cindric. The 96 should be racing Sunday.

Agree.

In the meantime, auto racing can show us some serious disappointment just about every race. Blaney and Elliott on Tuesday.
 
Some are having a problem because there are too many cars for the spots in the race.

points and money is involved besides getting into the 500. Otherwise they would have run around the back all night

Only place I know is Grotto’s in Delaware but they do it a certain way. Good pizza tho

Am I the only one who thinks that if they didn't have to run these cars on Sunday that Logano would have punted Aric like a football?

It would have been Aric’s second last lap wreck as the leader at Daytona.
 
Fox being pretty deceitful by showing that Harvick interview from before it was raining at the track lol
