He'd have a couple of titles if he could stay out of his own way on the track, on pit road, and inside his own head.

I really think that head stuff is overdone. I really don't care why Denny doesn't have a title, but I find his pursuit to be very interesting. He is arguably at the top of his game....late in his career.

Denny has started his career countdown, so he'd wreck his Mom (Tony Stewart) to win a Championship.

Mark Martin is already everyone's favorite Championship-less driver, so it's win at all costs for Denny.

Fair. Give him a car he kind of likes, and he is dangerous. Give him a car he really likes, and there's nobody better.
