Driver of the week

no soup for me........well thought of reply...do you have a headache? This could get boring at this slow rate of thoughtful replies........

Heh , that was meant for the Fender , I was trying to help you .

Sorry GG, hate to tell you, but there is no race today....besides, 9 min and 38 sec. would still beat some like that Cobb woman or the Greens or ....you get my drift.........then again, maybe you don't.

Thanks truthfullofit, I know there's not a race today. It was a joke. Do you know what a joke is? Great you don't like NASCAR, we couldn't give sh*t. Voice your opinion without insulting every member with your 15 year old mentality.

Sorry dirt thumper or whatever silly name you go by...it is you that acts like an idiot, not I. Correct, I do not like the way NASCAR is headed...is that OK with you or do I have to think as do you? Whatever you think is of no importance to me...you seem limited in abilities and cause no intrest.......nothing personal, you just seem to be a bore and know little about racing........nothing personal....and your insults are of course irrelevant.

Insult you, oh no, contra ire contra ire my friend...I just defend myself from silly name caller who instigate and show no ethics....I do it well....I do admit I take advantage of them at times.

Maybe for the last time , I gotta give kudos to Kurt. He is a heck of a racecar driver.

Danica because she complete 513 of 519 laps on her first ever trip to Darlington and improved immensely over there course of the weekend.

Keep rubbin that number in . Even though I like your math , I gotta go with the veteran Kimmell . Right or wrong , he has the speriance.

Despite my desire to say that Jimmie-Chad deserves the award for best driver of the week, I have to go with Miss Thang, who against incredible odds, completed every effing lap in her Darlington N'wide debut and kept it clean for the duration of her second-ever CUP start.

Danica - hands down!

No way! Jimmie Johnson. He got on the short side of some of those pit strategies and kept on going. He also did a great job saving fuel. Plus he ended that 200 win talk, that's deserving of driver of the week by itself.

I like the idea of this thread so I'm gonna do my part to keep it going. I'm actually gonna go with Dale Earnhardt Jr for this week. He avoided the fan vote with a great drive in the Showdown and gave it his all in the All- Star race. Think if Kenseth had a better start on the last segment he might have had something for him. But Jimmie has got there Mojo back so he's my gavorite for the 600.

Jimmie has led more than 500 laps at downforce tracks this year. So I heard.

My Driver of the Week vote goes to Ricky Stenhouse Jr who dominated the Nationwide Race at Iowa.
That young man is damn good!

He's come a long way from a driver that was parked not that long ago. I hope Roush can find the founding to move him to Cup in 2013.

The next star in cup, and he knows how to rub and bump without flipping out. I love watching he and Kez race side by side.

If Jack can't put him in a Cup car next year, Roger may snatch him up right quick. I'm sure Brad has already told Roger to do just that. Moving to Ford sure will clear the way for signing him.

I have to go with Dale Earnhardt Jr. this week, the boy put it in the show the Hard way and drove hard All Night long.

I really do hate to say this but JR. Drove his butt off he's 1st. Ricky S was good but had a heluva good car, better than the rest, as usual, 2nd for him.

Yeah I'm going with JR this week as well. JJ may have won but riding aroud half a track behind for the next three segments isn't gonna get any respect from Nascar fans.

Jr was given a gift in the shootout when AJ had that flat tire. That may have saved him from getting in on the fan vote. But Steve did a good job of getting him track position and the car was good enough to stay up front.

Driver of the week? I'll give that to Kurt Busch. He drove the wheels off both his Cup and NW cars.

Kasey Kahne. He found a grove and was flawless and no mistakes. I look for the 5 to visit victory lane again very soon.

Has to be Kasey this week, he would of lapped the whole field if they ran another 20 laps, he was perfect every lap.

I thought Brad did a good job. He was 2nd last week in the Truck race, 1st in the NW race and 5th in the Cup race.

I thought the Biff did a good job. They were the class of the field for most of the race until night fell and they lost the handle. Don't think you can blame him for that.
