I like Ben Rhodes Havoline scheme, very sharp and good to see them back in the sport
Living in Chicago and growing up during the Michael Jordan/Bulls years like I did, that song will give you goosebumps to this day
Kyle Larson just got caught up in a wreck in the USAC midget race he's running tonight. Not sure if he would have fared better here or not.
I don't understand the "shape" of the red.....like where it angles up around the front wheel and there's two random lines that stick up. It looks strange IMO
Larson would have gotten up to 2nd and knocked down the wall every 5 laps
This is fun, man I wish I had a short track near me. My local one, Hialeah Speedway, shut down 14 years ago.
Yeah, living near Miami, you're boned. There are some badass tracks in Florida - 4/17 Southern, Citrus County, Auburndale, but they're nowhere near you.
We had the best track in the Midwest at the Tulsa fairgrounds for many years until the city shut it down because of the noise. Too many people in the neighborhood complained.
Need to get Tony in a truck ASAP
Hendry County Speedway in Clewistown, might not be too far from you. It is a dirt track and run sprints once in a while.
Hialeah was doomed due to the urban sprawl of the growing Miami metro area
Funny story, I've been there once
My God I hate that
Don't like the noise? Move the **** somewhere else. Dip****s
Thank you, this exactly. As I said, Hialeah shut down because the land was valuable
Well it ain't Eldora, that is for sure.
If I lived somewhere and there were no short tracks, I'd wither and die.
Turned it into a junk horse track. Every time I see it I just feel sad. Nobody goes to the horse races.
Go Creed get up there and cause some excitement!
Horse racing is cruel and should be outlawed.
Quiet in these parts tonight where is everyone ???
Horse pulls for me. The horses love it.
I want to see Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, and Dale Jr run this race in the future.
Wait why are they stopping between stages I don’t remember this??
Yes sir. Gordon especially
Prelude to the Dream was awesome.
for those of you who never heard of jack Hewitt, here is a clip to get your attention:
and when you get done with the entertainment value of that clip, watch this: jack could wheel race cars. at the end kyle Larson gives perspective:
Ross Chastain is the man. First time on dirt and he's right in the mix.
Would be a Ross thing to never race on dirt and win the thing
He was a heck of a wheelman, fortunate to see him, Brad Doty and the Wild Child race years ago. BTW, the Wild Child, Jac Haudenschild is still racing and winning sprint car races
Got some junkers now. They really ran caution free for awhile.
Only been watching for about 20 minutes and it appears the 51 is struggling....
Well just wadded up half the field
16 and 8 are done
Natalie is smiling somewhere
Probably watching the Hall of Fame Game.
The curse of Natalie "Single Spin" Decker.
if you didn't know about my dirt roots...
