I wonder if Gibbs and TRD conspire to procure a charter for the 77 , would they not want to control it ? Would they be happy to have it in Visser's control? What if he decides to take it with him to another manufacturer some day?
 
There's no need for anyone to conspire. Visser will either find a suitable deal for the lease or purchase of a charter from someone else or he won't. If he does, it will become one of his assets ... completely separate from his relationship with TRD or Gibbs.

Neither TRD nor Gibbs have anything to gain by "controlling" a charter for that car.

I would think the four car rule would prevent Gibbs from owning or having any control over a fifth charter for the 77. Apparently, the four car rule does not prevent Gibbs from having a fifth car and fifth driver, just judging by how the 77 is being described by Allen.:mad:

I'd guess the 77 will simply become part of the on-going relationship between Furniture Row, TRD and Gibbs.

Visser's charter or charters have nothing to do with that.
