FedEx 400 benefiting Autism Speaks Race thread

Wow, glad Yahoo wouldn't let me pick Dillon last week. He's in 30-somethingth right now. Went with Mears instead, and he's in 14th. :)

Yeah, not so much. If he held up the chalkboard telling me to pass someone and I didn't, I'd hear it after the checkered flag...
"What the **** were you doing out there?"
We never showed up to run 2nd.

He had to tell you to pass cars? ;)

Haha...I wonder if he "meant" for them to blow ;)

Reminds me of an old story for some reason:

Mary to her friend: "Yeah, I'm a good swimmer...when I was a kid my dad took me out in the middle of the lake and tossed me in...no expensive lessons for me...he taught me how to swim the fast way!"

Friend to Mary: "Ummm Mary...I don't think he was trying to teach you how to swim."

reminds me of a wife I had..I went to the doc and said I don't know if my wife has AIDS or Alzheimer's. He told me, blindfold her and put her in the car and let her out about 20 miles away. If she makes it home..don't screw her

Last year when Jimmie Johnson won in the Madagascar 3 car, he put on an Afro Circus wig in victory lane. If he wins in the Monsters University car, is he going to poke one of his eyes out to look like Mike Wazowski?

man...nice recovery by JJ and the 48 team....and tony's in 12th place moving on up :)

Toyota, like the other Japs, are too busy making sure their street cars have reliable engines unlike GM (Get Mechanic).
There is a small round cap on top of the engine, and you need to remove it and poor a little oil into it every once in a while.:)

If I were Matt, I'd be pissed.
When I was racing my dad was my engine builder. If my bike blew up, I'd drag it off the track and leave it lay where it died, walk back to the pits and tell my dad his **** blew up and where he could find it. :D
He shoulda smacked you upside the head.

"It has not been a great day for Danica Patrick." Are you kidding me?? This is one of her better runs!

I change my oil every three months (max). A cracked intake manifold, two blown engines and a blown transmission in under a year isn't normal - especially when mechanic after mechanic has told me that the V6 3800 motor is one of GM's most reliable motors. I'm very unlikely to buy another Get Mechanic Piece of Shyte.

People who buy those cars can go ahead and put their "I buy American" on their made in China/Mexico piece of shyte. I'll keep my $500 Subaru that's probably more American than anything GM has on the road.

What a difference a year makes. Jeff was by far the dominant car this race last year... this year he's about to go a lap down.
