Nah, they give me gas. Do you have a pickle?

Even if they tool that giant tarp off the empty seats by turn 1 and threw it over the track, I dunno if they can get this race back running.

A bit of info, FOX's sign off time is at 6pm. NASCAR might make the call before then.

It was two years ago that we were introduced to the Golden Horseshoe (thanks Harvick), and it's proven again. JJ had the best points day of the year on Tuesday and today, lucks out by the race not going green again.

And Jimmie Johnson's golden horseshoe is still firmly intact. Luckiest son of a bitch,

Okay ...can someone splain that to me. The Aussie had a win taken away last year because he didn't keep up to pace car speed...put back several places if I recall correctly. Jimmy freekin blows up , doesn't lose a lap , doesn't even lose a position , I gotta see the replay.

He maintained speed. If they had stayed under yellow a few more laps, he would've had to pit because NASCAR would make him or he'd be out of oil. Simply put, Jimmie's a lucky son of a bitch.

Now we wait for someone to say that Smoke lucked into that victory because it was a rain-shortened event...
:sarcasm:

C'mon, seriously! Someone has to think that Tony didn't earn this win!
That's how y'all feel about Joey's first win in CUP, right?

Considerng how bad you seem to want it, why not do it yourself and then pat your back for being right?

Tony was leading, Joey was like 20th.

I think he stopped on the track while trying to save fuel,Jim kept pace and really just got lucky the rain came or he would have been done.

Opposite heavy competition from the NCAA Tournament on CBS and PGA Golf on NBC, NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing on FOX averaged a 3.4/7 Sunday for the Auto Club 400 from Auto Club Speedway which was cut short by rain. That's down -17% from last year's 4.1/9 for the same race which ran in its entirety. Season-to-date, NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing on FOX is averaging a 4.9/10 in the meters, off -9% from last year's average of a 5.4/12.(3-26-2012)

Can't wait to hear how the "true fans" spin this one.

North Carolina playing Kansas and Tiger winning for the first time in nearly 3 years definitely hurt the ratings. If not for keeping track of the PGA on my phone I'd have been flipping the channel from time to time to see how Tiger was faring.

You want to know what hurt the ratings? A non-entertaining race.

Many people found the race plenty entertaining.:)

And to deny that 2 other major competing events had an impact on ratings would be incredibly ignorant.
