i wonder that this means for racing.more bs
cut the cable
It’s off on Sling also.
Hopefully they aren’t anything on them networks you watch. If your local Fox isn’t owned by Fox it should be okay as mine is owned by Sinclair and it’s still up and going. So I’d check if I was you to see what’s up and not.
What kind of picture quality does it have?Firestick + Sportztv = never worry again
Sling tv. Has both way cheaper
The cable companies do this all the time. I have a good OTA antenna for these times

Is there any way you can record on the DVR while using the antenna ?
The blame usually falls on the networks. They usually are trying to jack up their carriage fees and the cable companies don't want to pay more - especially because it often means raising prices on customers.
Remember, you're paying $9/month for ESPN.
Not that I've experienced. Unless, getting the thingy from DISH to add the channels to their guide, you might be able to do that. I wish I could remember what they called the thing. You pug it into the Hopper and then the antenna goes into the attachment. I didn't want to bother with it so I don't have any first hand experience.

Dish keeps having issues with some of our local channels, I don't know whether to get an antenna or wait them out. One thing is certain, we aren't going to watch commercials so if we can't record we will do without.
I always have an antenna hooked up, even with YouTube TV.
They make things to record OTA TV.

Hold up on doing this , they are having coding issues and some channels wont work right now but they are fixing it.What kind of picture quality does it have?
You don't even need the ugly rabbit ears. Digital antennas are available (have been for years) with better picture and usually pick up more channels.I have never had one, at least not in the last decade or so

Yeah, and I havent watched ESPN since Homestead 2014, I would love to be able to drop the ESPN channels .Remember, you're paying $9/month for ESPN.
Hulu live tv package is $40, YouTube tv is $50. Fubo is also an option and you can add Mavtv for the few arca races. None of those options have half the channels traditional carriers carry. Personally, my local cable company(midco) hasn’t had a true, channel blackout dispute in nearly 10 years, plus they’re the same price as dish. Seems like these nationwide companies cannot go a month without something being blacked out.I see FS1 and FS2 are gone from my lineup. DISH blames Fox. I got no cure for this.
