hala lu ya...we have a race thread.

Not bad for the first race. Guys will start figuring things out and we'll see better racing at the end, but we'll never see the kind of finishes the tandem brought us.
 
Had fun tonight and I can't wait for the Daytona 500 and the rest of this season, you guys are awesome to talk to during the races no matter who you're favorite driver is.

It wasn't bad. It may have been a different deal if Tony hadn't have dumbassed early on. I'm happy with tonight's race. I like the new car. This will be a good season. :)
 
I like that the tandem crap is over. It appears the bump draft is over, too.
I've never been a fan of the plate tracks but I think this is a step in the right direction. The real racing season begins after the Daytona 500. I think we're in for a good season of awesome racing. I wonder how these things will run on 1/2 miles and road courses.

He said winning the 500's defined his career. That's complete truth. Lol I see nothing wrong with saying that. I don't think he was bragging, just mentioning that winning the 500 is a highlight for most drivers that win.
 
Jeez four wins out of a lifetime of racing ain't grounds for any kind of bragging.
The Daytona 500 is a crapshoot, at best.
