Hamlin - Logano apparently not over.

I don't see how anyone can believe that Denny could have held his line and kept the wheel steady after getting drilled in the middle of a 14 degree banked corner at 190 mph. The guy was trying to save his car. Nobody could possibly think fast enough under those circumstances to retaliate in less than half a second. JMO.

Joey certainly got into the door of Denny and moved him up the track. But Joey had it saved and for a brief moment Denny looked like he did too but he then turned left into Joey's RR. That's how I saw it.

Forget the grandstands. The video shows exactly that. Joey does turn down and get off Hammy, who then tries to turn him into the wall. I think his plan was to save it and go around, which is why Denny took so long to hit the brakes.

'Cept I think Joey is driving over his head a lot of the time. The only thing that saves his ass is that he's doing it in top equipment by guys that build and set up competitive race cars. I don't think Joey has the skills yet to get the most out of a car that isn't handling well. Can't wait for Sunday :D
I dont think he's driving over his head at all, its just that finally he's getting equal equipment and respect from his organization so that he can drive hard and agressive like he should be doing and not getting the culls and disrespect that he got from his so called teammates and the two gibbs. Is he one of my favorites? Not yet but he's working on being one.

100% agreed. Im loving his new aggressiveness. Looking forward to this race Im curious whether someone will do something..

I'm with Bobby on this. After slamming into his side [because he overdrove both the corner and his skill level] burnt toast tried to slide up in front of Hambone as Hammy was still trying to recover from being slammed. YVMV [your vision may vary]

It was interesting to hear all the driver takes on Fontana and both incidents, but most seemed to say Logano's blocking wasn't out of line at all.

I think JJ had the best advice for both of them. Next time, call the guy before it gets out of hand.

Nobody could have that's why the 11 should've stayed high. Regardless of how you see it, the truth is Denny Hamlin was holding all the cards going into turn 3 because he had the middle and top groove. Logano was stuck on the bottom because Hamlin chose the middle groove. The other fact is Denny Hamlin preserved the win for JGR. When you consider this it just looks like Denny Hamlin made beating Logano a priority instead of winning the race at least that's why I think he made no attempt to block the 18.

Y'all think Martin/Vickers will get involved in this?
I don't think so but all bets are off on the last lap. I personally believe one of the SHR cars will take out Logano at some point after seeing those stickers. lol

I'm looking forward to hearing Joey squeak next time someone runs him over. This ain't over by any means.
Who knows, Martinsville may have a section of fence with Joey's name on it :D

Well it sure is making things interesting Bobby

That may be the best interpretation I've heard yet.
