I don't know what Ty's background is that makes him feel qualified to get into these 410 beasts, but the kid needs to rethink what he is doing. I thought I read where he is scheduled to run Eldora later this year. I am not a Ty fan, but I certainly don't want to see him injured. Eldora can be a pretty unforgiving joint.

I think his background is that he hasn’t ever been told no to anything.

I appreciate that he likes sprint cars, but yes he’s playing a dangerous game.
 
I know he raced dirt karts growing up at Millbridge and he runs micros and stuff but yeah thats still a big jump.
 
I don't see it as being entirely his fault, but yeah, he isn't driving a Nascar tank. Chad Boat is a top drawer sprint car builder. Ty ran his midgets at the Chili Bowl. He did ok at 450 HP but no way he was going to the A. 900+ is a different animal.
 
Vegas has been inconsistent in the past, but they really have it dialed in this weekend. It’s racing great for a big fast track.

Hocevar is good in the booth. He’s a natural at this.
 
Thorson was coming on strong and had Reutzel passed, but the yellow for McCarl exploding a tire nixed it. Reutzel looked strong for most of the race though. Glad Day was okay after his nasty spill.
