Homestead RACE thread

Penske racing came in 4th and 5th I think not a bad year for a two car team. Tough breaks for Joey, he's young though got more chances at it.

Newman is a hypocrite.

"I thought about holding it wide open under Harvick but thats not the way he woulda raced me"

Sooooo what about Larson? Sounds like to me he knew Harvick would beat his ass afterwards & Larson wouldnt.

Hey, at least one of, if not the best driver, this year won the title even though the format is pathetic.

But Alan Gustafson doesn't belong in this ****** sport

That was a....subdued...reaction to Harvick getting out of the car. lol

There has to be more to it than just pitting for Gordon.

Guy had nothing, and I mean nothing to lose but to win the race. He pits, for what reason?

Maybe he did it to help out Harvick or Neman or something? I guess he sort of accomplished that.

Still, as a fan I want to see him give it his all and yet he put his tail between his legs. I'm kind of ashamed.

I don't get Newman there.

Last week he'd dive bomb a driver to just get into this final race.

But in the actual championship race, he goes down into turn 1 side-by-side with his biggest challenger, and he will not move him? If you're willing to make that move last week, you dang sure should be willing to do it this week.

Newman is a hypocrite.

Harvick would have broke the trophy over Newman's head.

Gordons Twitter doesn't have any reason for pitting. It's like they're beating around the bush. The last entry read: 'blah blah finishes p10 "great job guys" '

Maybe they realized they couldn't win on the old tires, and just a threw a hail Mary.
It could have worked. Who would have ever thought they would have a long 3 lap green run afterwards all the ways to the checkered.

There was 12 laps to go when they pitted, no way near enough time. I kinda think they may have had a flat or something.

It all started for Harvick back at Rockingham in 2001 after the death of Dale Earnhardt, and has come all this way to win a championship, Congrats Harvick, finally getting his championship

Ohhh Now Joey's saying consistency doesn't pay anymore.

Odd timing to come out and say it.
