how many wins for the hendrick group?

They shouldn't count Joey's stats at Toyota, he was at such a disadvantage with Hamlin as a team mate and Tony's old CC. Take a look at his Xfinity record during that time period and it will tell you his skills were even better than Hamlin is/was.

Haha Hamlin is a talent scout for sure! He tells the media someone sucks and they immediately and consistently outperform him. "People will see Brad is no good and he won't be around for long." Wins NNS title the next season and cup title two years later... "Joey won't see me from the back of the field".. Joey puts up better numbers almost every season since 2013. :D Yeah that Hamlin.. hes a real winner

On a side note.. @Revman u really seem to he making some friends around here the past couple days

Joey sucked at JGR because he was on his way to being a very good driver. Nobody held him back, really. He was in that drive too early.
 
Byron won 4 races last year and three of those races had some pretty good cup drivers in the field. It will be interesting to see if he can keep it going in cup. Bowman is the biggest question mark for me out of the Hendrick 4 this year.
 
Johnson: 3
Elliott: 2

Likely one of Bowman and Byron will get a win. But I think one of the two newbies will struggle.

As others have said, I think Kyle Larson will be the dominate driver of the Chevy camp.

Your entitled to your opinion as am I. How come Joey could jump in a Xfinity car from Joe Gibbs
and run circles around the others? Answer :Because he had a different CC.
 
Good question and honestly I think Chase and Jimmie will get about two a piece. I feel Bowman and Byron are going to go through some growing pains. Especially Byron, he's been damn near perfect in the Trucks and Xfinity series. I think he hits a bit of a rookie wall this season, but year two he won't be slumping.

I think Bowman will go through growing pains because I'm not entirely convinced the 88 team or Greg Ives is a great team right now. He had his great run at Phoenix and flashes of greatness, but also had some very mediocre runs too at Texas, Homestead.

Byron IMO is going to have the best rookie season since Tony Stewart did in 1999. Unreal what he’s done in the minor league series and showed his stuff at Michigan last year against Hamlin

If your a race fan then you know that the relationship between a CC and driver is probably the most important thing on the team. Ask Kevin Harvick. Better yet ask Kyle, he changes CC and gets who he wants every time. When Joey was with JGR he had one CC and I doubt very much they listened to Joey at all. Yet when Joey went down to Xfinity he could beet Hamlin in the same equipment and won a lot of races.

Ever since Joey got his new CC with a different team he has shown what he can do.

So, you see the difference between Cup and Xfinity as irrelevant?....You are aware that Joey didn't spend his whole time with Zippy, right?.....Joey called his season last year, "Horrific." Is this on Todd Gordon in your opinion?
 
Logano just got better at driving and found a better match at CC, he kinda got thrown to the wolves but he definitely adapted over time. However, the low downforce package last year didn't help his case.

For Hendrick I say they win 8 races all towards the middle or end of the season.
Jimmie with 4, Chase with 3 and Bowman or Byron get one.
 
I think we are giving rookies and young guys a lot of credit. Austin just has 1, Larson 4(?) and they have been in the series since 2014ish. I don't think the 24 or 88 will win this season. Chase might, but I'd still bet 3 wins on Johnson. Final Answer.
 
i think byron and grubb are going to be best of the kids.and i still say ALL four cars will win!

48 has had top 5-10 speed the last month.

People are kidding themselves if they think Jimmie goes winless
 
they are getting the car better, Johnson has gone from 20th to 14th in points in the last 3 races. Finishes of 3rd, 6th and 12th, 7.0 avg fin.
