After much, much mulling it over and I mean much, im heading to the Pacific Northwest early in Oct.

I know where I'm going, I've lived there before. The Tri-Cities area of Washington. Its a great part of Washington.

Its going to be a busy summer.

Bring your rain coat. Good luck.

Hey numbers.

The area of Washington I'm going to is desert. It is in the lower part of the state. Every house has a sprinkler system. The wonderful thing is, it's got the columbia and snake rivers 5 minutes away and mountains everywhere.

I signed the lease on a small house, this morning. I now have somewhere to move to, when I get there. I am leaving on the 17th this month.

Just a few pics.

Good luck on your move, wishing you all the best.

Welcome back to the PNW. I'm on the wet side of WA and its only rained 0.1 inch since May...

Have a safe trip. Don't forget to stop and smell the roses. B)

The house fell through that I wanted to rent. It was a scam. So, I got busy today and got a 2 bedroom apartment rented. I kinda wanted an apartment anyway, no grass to mow.

Fires everywhere, I know. Its really bad. Makes me sad. :(

It's like one of the volcanoes erupted. Ash falling from the sky the last two days. All will be washed away in a month and half.

My apartment is available on the 21st. Not sure when I'm outta here? Probably about that date.

I reserved a small uhaul trailer, today.

Movers coming Wednesday, to put 95% of my stuff in my storage unit.

My house looks like a bomb went off.

How are things now?

Not bad, clear on this side of the mountains. And also back into seasonal weather. It's been hot and dry all summer.

Wagons Ho ! Good luck Lisa, keep us posted. Property looks really nice!

I wound up getting an apartment, hotrod. I really hate mowing.
Wise choice.........The wife and I are considering selling the house and moving into an apartment or condo...... no more yard work.... paying to have trees trimmed and removed...... we bought a new A/C unit 12 years ago for 3800 dollars... getting ready to have it replaced for 5 grand....... (heat exchanger rusted out).....if you rent.... call the landlord........ no plumbing worries...... no roof replacements at thousands of dollars...... no taxes and insurance...... (other than renters insurance)....... folks say that renting is just throwing your money out the window....... they don't figure in the upkeep and interest on the home loan........

All this American dream of owning your own home is sometimes Bullsh!t......... Work you a@@ off every free hour to upkeep it!!!!!!!

Spent 3 hours in Chicago traffic, stop and go. I would never again, drive a stick, through that kind of congestion. I am exhausted and crying here in my motel room.

oh goodness...... thats a workout!

Still a good day. Keep it steady and stay safe.
Its like a Lewis and Clark expedition !

I'm in Black River Falls. I only drove 300+ miles today.

The main thing is you are headed in the right direction and making progress. The easiest thing to do is nothing and I give you a standing ovation for all the work you are doing to get where you want.

Lisa - Hope you had a good day on the trail and made it through (or to) one of the Dakotas.
