All in all this sport is in a very sad situation where the best drivers HAS to screw up for others to have a prayers chance.

The competition is so lacking these days if you're not named Johnson.

While I mostly agree with you, Newman was either equal or better than Johnson today. I think it was just who would get the lead by the end of the last pit stop.
 
Oh and Jimmie doesn't win his 5th Brickyard before Gordon at least for another year. :)

That would be the logical thing to do but like Jr. she brings in the money.

How long that will last remains to be seen.

At least Dale Jr. is a constant cash cow. I dont think Danica will have that lasting power.
 
I give the race thread a rating of 5 but do like the idea of putting it at the top of page :cheers:
 
Current Stewart-Haas drivers Ryan Newman and Tony Stewart and future Stewart-Haas driver Kevin Harvick all have wins on the season. Danica has zero top-five finishes.

He should be. He was only 2 points out entering the race. He led a lap and finished 7th.

FLracingFan said he was in the top 10 but only by 1. I had hope he was in by more seen as how Brad finished so badly. But hey, I'll take it.

For some reason I thought he was alot farther back, but that is great news.

Once again, they were and still are great friends, I have had to fire family and or friends, it's not fun but sometimes it has to be done for the good of the company and Newman is man enough to understand this.

I dont know why these people wait so long to show the points.

Should be the first thing after the end result they should show, instead they leave it for the last possible moment. Rating whores.
 
Did anyone mention the fact that Johnson bumped the pace car coming to the green flag at the start of the race?

Maybe the guy isn't so vanilla after all.
