IndyCar: 2021 Big Machine Music City Grand Prix

Better roads than South Carolina, by far.

Potholes deeper than the Mariana Trench.
In the Carolinas, we keep our racing where it belongs - on facilities designed and built expressly for that purpose. :p Nobody schedules a race through Malfunction Junction, or over the Ravenel / Cooper River bridge.

I think they can improve the course and it's hard to imagine as many boneheaded incidents in the future. Passing is clearly quite possible.

A decent run to the finish would help smooth over how awful a lot of the race has been.

I still like the concept of the track.

It's a massive learning experience for everyone. They literally watched the Baku GP a few times and was like, "We want that." It's the first new track in nine or ten years... It shows a lot, no data or anything to go off of.

The quality of racing will improve next season because all the teams will have an idea of what is being worked with.

Miles "vision" of Monaco is a lie.

They should have made a swap like 5 laps ago. Herta is going to eat them both alive.

8 cautions doubles the previous season high of 4 at Road America. Impressive stuff.

This is really impressive from Ericsson even if he gets passed by Colton eventually. No one else has had anything for the 26 guys the whole weekend.

Would be interesting to understand why he has more straightaway speed given that he should be having to save more fuel than Herta.

The announcers are under the impression that they trimmed out to be quickest over the bridge. If so, pretty impressive with how sketchy that must be over the narrow twisty parts.

It was setting up to be a solid clean finish, who knows what chaos lies in store now.
