Looks like Hamlin has had it out for Joey for a while now.
Add Carl and Kyle , and you got to lose 3 chasers , who?
Truex and Biffle/or Earnhardt? Preferably JJ but I doubt it.
My Prediction for the 2013 chase final standings and who will win how many times(because why not?)
1-Brad Keselowski(4)
2-Kyle Busch (5)
3- Carl Edwards (2)
4-Kasey Kahne (3)
5-Tony Stewart (1)
6-Joey Logano(3)
7-Clint Bowyer(2)
8-Jeff Gordon(2)
9-Matt Kenseth(4)
10-Kevin Harvick (wc)(2)
11-Kurt Busch(wc)(1)
12-Jimmie Johnson(3)
Joey will not get three wins. He might luck into 1, but not 3.
I think there will be no luck about it. I think he'll get 2 and contend for a few more. And I added one just because why not lol. I also know JJ probably wont be 12th but I mean hey... I dont like him and its my list he's lucky he made the cut.. dick.
Yes I have one thank you.

I think it was Gluck who commented on this picture "Which one is Joey".
When Joey does, it's more likely he'll do so at the expense of Brandon McReynolds, Ty Dillon, Elle Gordon, and the rest of the 2020 field.Well someone's gotta start not making the chase when Joey does.
I'm not entirely sold on Truex Jr. The three prior years he finished no better than 18th in points and still hasn't won since '07. Also take into account that each year multiple well-known drivers struggle and miss the Chase for whatever reasons. Two years ago it was Bowyer/Kahne/Biffle, three years ago Martin/Kahne/Earnhardt, four years ago Kyle Busch/Kenseth/Jr./Harvick, etc. I think Joey has a fair shot.It would be very hard to think of that many drivers that would be left out of the Chase in order for Joey to make it.
In my opinion,
Keselowski, Junior, Johnson, Bowyer, Biffle, Hamlin, Kahne, Edwards, Ky Busch, Kenseth, Harvick, Truex, Gordon, and Stewart are always almost the ones to compete for the 12 spots. Obviously someones got to miss. But then, at the same level as Logano, you have McMurray, Menard, Newman, and maybe even Montoya who are all trying to be one of the couple sleepers that always seem to sneak their way into the Chase. It's difficult to choose 1, let alone 3, that would miss the Chase ahead of Logano.
Tough decision , he's like a top 15 driver . You aren't going to find a top 10 driver who wants that ride , so you either go with an Ambrose or Allmendinger type or opt for a new kid . Either way , good chance you will be worse off (at least in the short term) . I like Truex and 15th or better should keep him workin. Do you have someone in mind?I would get rid of Truex after this year if he doesn't start winning, he doesn't have a good record at all for the equipment he is driving.
Probably hasn't helped his cause that he's 3+ years winless in that car, and Bowyer came in and got 3 wins and a 2nd place points finish his first year with the team in essentially the same equipment.I would get rid of Truex after this year if he doesn't start winning, he doesn't have a good record at all for the equipment he is driving.
I'm not entirely sold on Truex Jr.
vickers? He is already driving part time for MWR, but his record is about the same as Truex . James Buescher Might be ready, he is in trucks again this year. Kyle Larson is probably tied up, and it may be a bit premature. Allgaier maybe. Truex hasn't been cutting it for years One win in ten years? One in over 265 races. I don't know, I guess he is making MWR money, he has a steady sponsor.
I am not ready to give up on Joey, he was racing for the lead when he got dumped last week.

Went from sliced bread to banana bread.
I don't know why not. It's a team that put two cars in the '12 Chase, and just missed the third because of the tag-team drivers. Maybe it's just me, but the MWR Toyotas seem to hang together better than the Gibbs rides. If an MWR seat opened, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Ganassi or Petty driver move over.Tough decision , he's like a top 15 driver . You aren't going to find a top 10 driver who wants that ride ...
Granted. It isn't critical for him to make the Chase this year or next. He's got a couple of decades ahead of him. But with that said, Kenseth and Keselowski both had titles earlier in their careers than where Joey is now.I think he will start making the chase before that. But at the same time I completely agree, that's a big part of why Im such a fan of his. He's done pretty well for himself given the fact that he's only 22 years old. Yet he still has probably 2 or 3 decades left in his career to improve.
Man, I'd rather have banana bread any day of the week. Slice it thick and toss it in the toaster. Good stuff, man; good stuff.Went from sliced bread to banana bread.

There is a cycle and it does take a few years to get through it . The need to prove yourself and show that you belong ends up wrecking a few racecars and getting into some confrontations with other drivers . Learning to race clean , save your equipment , communicate with your crew , and act like a winner on and off the track are part of maturing . Guys who have been champions in other series , come into cup expecting to beat Johnson , Harvick , Stewart , Biffle , Edwards and the rest , but that isn't easy . They are f..n good .Maybe, but they also started their careers at a later age, and I think maturity has a lot to do with being a good cup driver, you get older and you just kind of look at things differently, certain things only come with age. Joey will be alright. Also, he still has time to become the sports youngest champion lol.

He wont be referred to as Joe until he takes his skirt off. Maybe Keselowski can help him that while he's busy turning him into the 2nd best driver in the history of Nascar.Yeah well theyre the best in the world at what they do. Ive always known Logano will make it there eventually. Sometimes it sucks lol but I know he'll get there. I have years of I told you so's ahead of me. Ive put up with A LOT of ball busting from the guys I watch races with. Although I do see a big change in him this year. I think he has a lot more confidence. Clearly Denny was sucking some of that out of him and with rumours of losing his ride for the past 2 years and all that Im not surprised he was overwhelmed. Being 19-22 years old and having to race against the best in the world and beat them while dealing with all the off track stuff. I think...know...hes in a better place now and he will excel with Penske.. so far this year is looking alright but even if not like I said Im in for the long haul. One thing Ive always wondered.. will he ever be referred to as Joe Logano? or is he stuck with Joey til hes an old man? lol
That's what I was thinking it seems weird to think of him as Joe.Bobby Labonte is still Bobby Labonte. Joey will always be Joey.

He'll change as he matures or gets laid.

Well he took a step toward that last week.. now just need to perform. Second best in history is pretty damn good. Id be happy with that.
