The "good old days" ??
Getting laid worked wonders for Brad. Thanks Jr.
He'll change as he matures.
I think he is showing that he is maturing. Still somewhat young and immature but he's getting faster in a cup car. With age comes maturity, patience, confidence, understanding and experience, all things you need to have in order to compete against the rest of these guys, all things I'm seeing from him lately that I haven't so much before. For 22 he's doing damn good in my opinion. Should have won last week. The move to Penske is going to kick start the career everyone was expecting years ago. I hope he breaks out this year and I think he can get a few wins. Even if he doesn't though he has years ahead of him and he's only getting better.
That's how I see it. All he needs to do this year is make the chase or win a race to keep that ride. He just might win this week. These new cars are more like the NW cars than ever, and he owns this place in NW.
Denny has some bad periods that hinders him from being a Busch. I am guessing the frequency occurs about every 25 to 30 days.
Joey's contract runs through 2015. I don't think he's going anywhere.
Agreed. As some would say. He will make the 22 car his legacy.Joey's contract runs through 2015. I don't think he's going anywhere.
Pennzoil signed through 2018 I believe. Well after it was announced Joey would be in the car this year. Hertz (and I think AAA) came on after too.I'm shocked Roger gave him 3 years without an out for Pennzoil if things go badly. That Pennzoil deal sure is sweet for these drivers.
Absolutely, one of the few cars in the field that will have the same sponsor for most of the races this season. All but 3. Logano being paired with a team and team mates that respect him and no sponsor issues will do well for him to keep his mind on track. Now just have to keep Denny out of there. I think Joey is in Denny's head more than Denny is in Joeys.Yep. And Pennzoil made it clear the deal wasn't about the driver (Kurt at that time) but about the $100 million of business to business income being teamed with Penske gets them. That 's about as secure a sponsorship as you'll ever see in nascar.
Yup, hopefully the former.Enough with the preamble, it's time for Logano to put up or shut up. but always have that excuse book at the ready

I couldn't agree more. If he doesn't get it done at Penske, he'll be sharing an apartment with David Reagan.
LOLI think he could afford his own house
Joey Logano - #22

Hopefully he doesn't have to drive a green car anytime soon. Nobody likes moldy bread.

Newman, maybe? If Tony can't find some more sponsors then he may have to make room for Happy, and Wonder Girl ain't going anywhere anytime soon. That's what I meant . Your aren't going to get a better driver , there will be lots of drivers wanting to move up to that ride , but no certainty they will do a better job . There isn't likely another Kenseth type move out there . You could take a flyer on a Kurt Busch or a Juan Pablo , but will they do as good a job with the sponsor as well as on track? You could move up a kid like Stenhouse but that's a five year project at best . I think MWR has gotta be happy they have Truex and sad they missed Kenseth.
