I swear Menard needs to get some 5 hour energy or something. He always sounds like he's about to fall asleep when they talk to him. Dang dude, lets smile or something...
 
FYI with the larger restrictor plate Jimmie's qualifying run is more than 3mph faster than Jeff's pole speed in the April race.

About 2.95 mph is due to the 15 degree cooler weather today than what it was in April the other .05 is the additional plate size. 6-8 Hp dosent add many mph at 180-185 mph.

I find Menard to be just that type of personality. Quiet, reserved and respectful.

I agree that Earnhardt can be somewhat gaurded in what he says but he at least thinks about the question before giving some well worn rehearsed blather. He just likes to walk around the question for a while ;)
