Jimmie and Chad always cheat lolzzz!!!

Of course they make it up as they go along . Nascar can't think this stuff up before it happens . And why should they legislate every nut and bolt and spacer on the car ? Can't they leave a one ounce spacer to the race teams ?Is there nothing left for the race teams to play with?

They didn't leave it alone. They confiscated parts and put them on display for the public.

Some of the other teams had better step their game up or the Chad and Jimmie show are going to run away with the championship

@jim_utter
Truex says "sombody" at NASCAR told his team way before Daytona what they did with the spacers was OK.

They might have. I think some of those guys running around in the yellow firesuits are dummies.

As it turns out, JJ's q'ing time today at Loudon was disallowed. The car didn't pass post-q'ing inspection. He starts 43rd.
The car went through side height inspection at least twice BEFORE q'ing.

Now that is odd. Anyone know how that could happen?

Here is another
Johnson crew chief Chad Knaus said the front end was misassembled when switching setups from practice to qualifying. That caused the initial problems as well as the post-qualifying problems, where the entire front end was too low.
“We were able to get the car right (for qualifying), but it just wasn’t exactly right and we weren’t going to know until after qualifying once we started tearing it apart what the problem was,” Knaus said.
“There was a mis-assembly issue with the left front, and that’s why the heights were so messed up when we went through initial inspection and it came back to bite us.”
Knaus said the team will be able to add back to the side skirt on the right side of the car that it cut off to get through tech.

Ohhh that may be it.

I wonder what would have happened if this had only been an issue on one or two cars? I'm betting there would have been penalties/fines.

What was interesting was the fact that every dang team immediately came up with the right spacer.

LOL A "misassembly issue"... aren't these guys paid hundreds of thousands of dollars or more a year to make sure that thee are no "assembly issues".. (aka "cheating")

They are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to find ways to push the envelope in the gray areas to try to gain an advantage over the other teams.

Except it didn't work this time. :D

Is Knaus the most failed inspection/ penalized crew chief since he and Jimmie came on the scene? Seems every year they have some issue.

I know there was at least 10 times they were caught before the c post issue at daytona.. I love that video of him telling JJ to wreck the car if he wins LOL what a dummy! "Yeah.... hey Chad.. theres a camera right there!"

Why am I not surprised that there are a bunch of idiots here that consider what happened with the 48 yesterday "cheating?

Some of you are really sorry excuses for NASCAR fans. No wonder the general public thinks we are all a bunch of inbred rednecks.

somebody take a pee in your wheaties dude?

He's probably irked by the people who defended the spacers being used last week but then turn around and criticize every little thing that the 48 team does that doesn't completely comply with NASCAR rules.

I wonder if fans who think Johanna Long is "fat" makes NASCAR fans look like inbred rednecks.

When you are caught time and time again for something illegal, of course people are going to start thinking you're cheating eventually.
