You're not the only Jimmie fan hereBut I like laughin Jimmie!
Of course they make it up as they go along . Nascar can't think this stuff up before it happens . And why should they legislate every nut and bolt and spacer on the car ? Can't they leave a one ounce spacer to the race teams ?Is there nothing left for the race teams to play with?
You make it seem like that's a bad thingSome of the other teams had better step their game up or the Chad and Jimmie show are going to run away with the championship
Didn't mean too. Let the best team win.You make it seem like that's a bad thing
@jim_utter
Truex says "sombody" at NASCAR told his team way before Daytona what they did with the spacers was OK.
lol I just found the picture online and thought it was funny
Beating Dale is more impressive than beating Danica.Thought you might have chosen the 10 car. LOL
Now that is odd. Anyone know how that could happen? As it turns out, JJ's q'ing time today at Loudon was disallowed. The car didn't pass post-q'ing inspection. He starts 43rd.
The car went through side height inspection at least twice BEFORE q'ing.
Hmmm.. whatta ya know? lol at least there's a thread for thatAs it turns out, JJ's q'ing time today at Loudon was disallowed. The car didn't pass post-q'ing inspection. He starts 43rd.

Ohhh that may be it.Here is another
Johnson crew chief Chad Knaus said the front end was misassembled when switching setups from practice to qualifying. That caused the initial problems as well as the post-qualifying problems, where the entire front end was too low.
“We were able to get the car right (for qualifying), but it just wasn’t exactly right and we weren’t going to know until after qualifying once we started tearing it apart what the problem was,” Knaus said.
“There was a mis-assembly issue with the left front, and that’s why the heights were so messed up when we went through initial inspection and it came back to bite us.”
Knaus said the team will be able to add back to the side skirt on the right side of the car that it cut off to get through tech.

I wonder what would have happened if this had only been an issue on one or two cars? I'm betting there would have been penalties/fines.
LOL A "misassembly issue"... aren't these guys paid hundreds of thousands of dollars or more a year to make sure that thee are no "assembly issues".. (aka "cheating")
It was just a matter of time.
Is Knaus the most failed inspection/ penalized crew chief since he and Jimmie came on the scene? Seems every year they have some issue.
Jimmie and Chad always cheat lolzzz!!!

Just kidding...
What do you guys think of teams altering safety devices to gain an advantage as opposed to altering performance parts? Should NASCAR come down harder on teams that mess with the safety of the cars?
fine for about a week lolHow'd that snark work out for you Dsquad48?
somebody take a pee in your wheaties dude?
Why am I not surprised that there are a bunch of idiots here that consider what happened with the 48 yesterday "cheating?
Some of you are really sorry excuses for NASCAR fans. No wonder the general public thinks we are all a bunch of inbred rednecks.

I wonder if fans who think Johanna Long is "fat" makes NASCAR fans look like inbred rednecks.
Looks like the 48 is having issues again in pre race inspection...
