not even close, the Busch brothers are fighting for the top spot, Harvick is around JR's level

Harvick is one of the best raw talent wheelmen in the sport.

Agreed, just driving around making laps is quite normal now it seems anyway, as long as he stays off the wall he should be good, Of course the 2 and the 4 will be ahead of him when one of them wins but he will still be in the game

At least he'll dominate tomorrow ;) As crappy as his cup cars this year I actually pull for him to win in nationwide and trucks

I have met him twice, his personality seemed fine to me, took time to sign our stuff when he was getting ready to qualify a car. Bobby is right though, its all about how he wheels a car
 
Like Kyle or not, you never have to wonder what he's thinking or how he's feeling.
The new PC NASCAR fanbase expects drivers to be cheery and happy when they lose. They simply aren't. Shocker; competitive people are not happy when they lose.
When I was racing, I showed up to win. I always thought I had all of the tools to win every race. When I lost a race it was because I let up in a turn, or I didn't get back to the gas soon enough. It was never because the other guy was better in that race. That's what makes a winner keep after it even if they don't win every race.
I'd rather see a guy pissed off after the race because he didn't win rather than some PC camera-sucker make up BS excuses why they're happy about finishing second. If you are a true racer, you're never happy about finishing second.
But in this "everybody gets a trophy and there are no losers" society, it's politically correct to enjoy losing. (Another reason NASCAR is losing it's fanbase.)

Started hurting a bit because the cooked nerves are regenerating. I guess that's a good thing.

Kevin just tells it like it is. If it weren't for a ****** team he would have 6-7 wins this year.
 
No wait, Kevin is a whiner, Kyle isn't and Jeff is Nascar Jesus. crazy thing is at this point in the season, none of it matters how many wins or losses anybody that is still in the running has. It is survivor, the great race, and who knows how many other prime time shows I don't watch all rolled up into one.

His old crew weren't the brightest. That has nothing to do with luck but more to do with incompetence.

when the worm turns, and I think it is going to turn, the crying will commence. Probably be a Kez, Harvick battle for it. Harvick has had the dominate car all year and Kez is next.
 
all them and the 48 and just about everyone would have predicted that bunch, no surprises. And screaming during the off season to not have a chase.
