I love short track racing (Taylor's Version)
Bruton Smith should tear this track down and build a half-mile track in its place. Or move this date up to IRP.
I'm about the only person who doesn't have a DVR in 2013.
Well, I'm the 2nd person, then. LOL

Good, I'm not alone.
Hey, we've got a foursome !
We should get together for a round of golf or a hand of poker or something while everyone else is busy trying to sort through all the junk that they've recorded.

Nowwww....I'm not saying I know what I'm talking about, but where I come from, that's an odd foursome.
Hey count me in, I don't have one of those Dv whatever's either.
I've got a VHS, a wad of blank tapes and I don't know how many tapes of racing --- some back to the Wide World of Sports days.
Ok, I fold, as far as I am concerned, you won the first hand. I thought I had it with the Daytona 500 in 2008.I've got a VHS, a wad of blank tapes and I don't know how many tapes of racing --- some back to the Wide World of Sports days.
Me neither, what time do we tee off?Hey count me in, I don't have one of those Dv whatever's either.

I would but it would probably take me 100 shots just to get to the second hole.
Clips from WWofSports --- 1958 Daytona Grand National, 1959 Daytona 500, 1960 Daytona 500. Also, 1969 Rebel 400 at Darlington. These were never made available to the public. I got them from a dear friend who had contacts.
Personally, I really didn't become hooked until I saw the '79 5oo.
And, I was only 12 in 1958 --- racing wasn't on my radar, yet. LOL
I had a homemade DVR I built myself (home theatre PC), but then I upgraded to digital cable with a cable box and the solution to get my HTPC to work with that was so asinine and I refused to pay the cable company for their DVR so, I don't have one either. It's about the only high-techno gizmo gadget I don't have.I'll likely miss the cup race this weekend. I'm about the only person who doesn't have a DVR in 2013.
Yeah, I've checked out that dude's channel before. Actually a lot of cool old races on YouTube from all sorts of series and eras. There is a guy on you tube named Michael Mcintyre, and I swear that guy never runs out of old races to put on.
here's his channel if you guys wanna catch some good races.
