Keselowski on his meeting with Gordon.....

“Yeah, we talked at length,” Keselowski said Friday at Michigan about a segment that will feature the two during this week’s telecast. “I think there are certainly some different opinions. I don’t necessarily know if that is going to change but it is nice to be able to have those conversations in a one-on-one format.

“My big thing is that I don’t want somebody that is invested in another team talking about my race car in a derogatory form or a perceived derogatory form. I don’t think that is right and I am going to defend my team in those situations no matter who it is. It doesn’t have to be one particular person. Beyond that, I think he has a position that requires his insight but there are some limitations to what insight I think is fair play for that position when you are still invested in the sport. I feel like that was over the line.”

And I'm sure he wants to be the arbiter of what is and what is not derogatory. Best not run afoul of the officials if that's how he feels. Gordon called a spade a spade ... after watching the 2 do the same thing twice ... once from behind the wheel of the 24 and then from the announce booth.

Brad was right to give Jeff a little career counciling . Gordon will remember that advice and thank Brad someday . Good stuff

What did Jeffy see from behind the wheel? The time the 2 tries to pass him and Jeffy got mad because nobody was allowed to pass him?

Now that would be hilarious.
Remember when Rudd and Jeff Burton spilled out of the ambulance in fisticuffs after they were in a wreck right in front of a lady reporter and she freaked out during the broadcast but it was just a trick? I think there was another driver involves but don't remember who?

It's a figure of speech ... meaning Gordon was in the race he was talking about.

Some folks take this stuff so seriously ...

The guy is such a blow hard. What does Gordon having a stake in a team have to do with talking in a "derogatory" way about Brad's car? The two are not even remotely related and trying to connect the dots on the two wouldn't exactly leave a straight line. The man loves to hear himself speak and speak in circles at that.

Apparently recounting facts translates to derogatory commentary in Kez-land.

I'll call BS on that. Gordon's "facts" were wrong. That is what started this whole (over-blown) deal.

As for bias, how prominently did Jeff call out the 48 for their caved in door when they were caught for that, or imply it was a factor in the 48's race wins?

The facts I refer to are the 2 separate / similar incidents described by the newbie broadcaster.

Brad's team pulled a stunt and got caught. There is no high moral ground for him here, IMO.

Keselowski is pissed because Gordon said he'd been penalized on the previous occasion when in fact, he hadn't been. That doesn't undo the "bodywork" that added a few points of downforce.

Is Gordon biased as regards HMS? Yes ... again jmo.
