Kyle Busch will NOT race in the Daytona 500

Sounds like Matt Crafton is getting a seat fit and will be on a plane back to Daytona tonight, per sources.


Taking this with a grain of salt, she reported on twitter that its been since 2000 that there was a race without a Busch Bother in it, when every one else was saying 2001, she couldnt get that fact straight
 
So, what is it going to take for NASCAR to mandate SAFER barriers on all the walls on every track on it's schedule?

Is it going to take the death of another driver before they act? Hamlin hit a wall that didn't have a SAFER barrier and it ****** up his back, now Kyle Busch hit a wall without a SAFER barrier and it ****** up his leg.

Come the **** on NASCAR.

Crafton would make a heck of a lot of sense .
 
Kudos for doing something about it, even after fact
 
In defense of Nascar, that's only the 2nd time that a car has hit that wall on a Super Speedway that I know of, probably a low priority to put the barriers on that wall. However, this is a good wake up call, just hope Kyle is alright.

Absolutely no defense. Every wall that even has a minimal chance of being impacted should have a barrier at every track.

Now that stuff pisses me off...... If I was at the hospital..... just got my leg broken or any other kind of thing...... Why in holy hell would I want to be entertaining a bunch of other people that thought they were doing me a good favor by coming to see me????????????? Dammitt!!!!!!! Just go home and leave me alone!!!!!!!!!! People always flock to the hospital to 'visit' folks........ Dammmitt....... that's why they are there.. they are sick....... they don't feel like seeing your sorry butt.
 
So now we know Kyle is out of the 500 does Nascar give him a Denny Hamlin mulligan if he just misses one race to keep him chase eligible? If he misses more than one race should he be disqualified from chase eligibility?
