Kyle Larson

My roommate is like a huge Larson fan.. I like Larson and think he's a future champion but my roommate who is usually low key went insane when Larson won haha..I was like calm down man, its only nationwide.

But Larson will win rookie of the year and he will win some cup races sooner than ppl think.

Its still a win, and the first win is always the most special. I was jumping up and down too, same as today

NASCAR's going to feel dumb for spending several months marketing the sport around Austin Dillon.

No doubt Larson is the real deal but he needs to stop speeding on pit road.

Just 5 races into the season, he's been hit with speeding on pit road about 4 times.

But he went toe to toe with two of the best drivers in the Cup series to get that win and did it with what looked like the ability and skill of a Cup series veteran.

On paper it was just a NW win, but it was really much more than that.

He will probably settle down a little more after he gets a few more races under his belt. But then, look how many races Gordon has and he did it today.

The kid pushes the limits. What more can you ask from a driver. Hell, Gordon did it today... under a yellow flag pit stop. But Larson still cares so I suppose it's different

just hope he won't start readin all tha hoopla......an it doesn't start changing kid's attitude.
long season ahead. gonna be more downs.......as well as ups.

long talk w/ "tiger mom " this week hopefully.

I'm not saying it should never happen. But 4 times this early in the season is way over the average.

I think it's safe to say that Chip made the right decision in dumping Montoya out of his Cup car.

It seems that isn't how it happened. Montoya refused the offer from Target and walked away. That forced Chips hand. Perhaps it was just a 1 year offer, and Juan knew what was going to happen sooner or later.

I like him...

A lot. I did last year, I'm expecting him to compete. I'm also expecting him to trash a few cars as well. He's got the speed and if he continues to develop, Chip might have a driver to be his go to guy in NASCAR, but I'm expecting him within the next two-three years to go to Hendrick. Jr, Johnson, Gordon, and Kahne... Telling you, they better be on the ball with this kid and Chase Elliott coming...

The future generation is coming fast...

It was so fun to watch Kyle Larson on Saturday at California just because of how much it resembled his runs at Knoxville in a 410 sprint. He has no problem finding grip regardless of the line and California is one of the rare tracks on the (now terrible) NASCAR schedule that actually allows a driver to visibly drive the race car.
